Are you an individual, student or team member with an entrepreneurial mind? Do you want to develop your business idea further with like-minded people and inspirational coaches?


The objective of the 10-Week Sprint program is to offer an environment whereas attendees can turn ideas into a business concepts within ten weeks. The Sprint has eight training days that have been developed to help early stage startup journey. These training days are in a form of guest lectures and workshops.


In short, you will learn to crystallise your idea, conceptise a product or service, identify customers, build different types of prototypes and finally as an end goal, demonstrate the product or service.

A Call for Ideators!

For Individuals and Entrepreneurs

As a participant, you can benefit in the following ways. Firstly, build up a new Sprint Project based on your idea and gather a team around it. Secondly, if you don’t want to take the full ownership, but you want to be part of a core team bringing your expertise into it, you can join an existing team, that already has a business idea.

For Students

As a student, you can benefit in various ways. Firstly, you can earn credits from the Entrepreneurship or Elective course (10 ECT). Secondly, it is possible to write your thesis during the Sprint when you base thesis on a 10-Week Sprint (15 ECT). Lastly, if other aforementioned options have been completed, you can get great work-life experience while building a startup as a founder or team member (15 ECT / 3 months).

For those who do Innovation project 10 ECTS: 28.1-30.1.2019 Independent work with pre-assignments and community (Four articles: Eveleens 2010, Hero et al. 2017…)

31.1.2019 – Sprint starts

4.4.2019 – Sprint ends


Is Your Big Idea Worth Pursuing?

Tell us some basics about yourself via form below and indicate whether you are a student, individual or entrepreneur looking to make your own idea happen, to join an existing team or build a new team.

Let us know: 1) describe shortly your business idea 2) what kind of skill-set you can bring into table? What are your skills, knowledge, passion and/or past experiences. or 3) what type of team members you are looking for: the current needs of the your business idea, case or project.

Please note that people will be chosen to the teams based on the team needs and the applicants’ attributes. A maximum of 10 teams will be built. Lastly, be prepared to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with the team that you want to work with.

The Sprint program is organised by Turbiini Accelerator and it is held twice in a year and open for all individuals or teams that are in early stage of startup journey. Turbiini Accelerator is operated by Metropolia UAS and has locations in Vantaa Technopolis and Helsinki Arabianranta with a purpose of helping early stage startups and teams.
